Now talking about the changes in the exterior of the car, City offers many first in class features like full LED Headlamps, Z shaped wrap around LED Tail lights and Honda’s LaneWatch Camera which streams the view from the left ORVM mounted camera on to the head unit which is a semi-digital instrument cluster with 7 inch display.


The clear-cut look of the 2020 City is a clear departure from the current car. The chrome lip and protruding chin gives the new City plenty of character. There are other interesting bits too like large  fighter-jet-like air intakes and door mounted mirrors. Phew!

ENGINE OPTIONS AND SPECS

Mechanically, the car will use two engine options:

1.5L i-VTEC (Petrol)

1.5L i-DTEC (Diesel)

The former delivers 89kW (121PS) at 6600 rpm and 73kW (100PS) at 3600 rpm and 145 Nm at 4300 rpm. It will be available with a 6MT and a CVT unit. In the MT configuration it will return 18.4kmpl of fuel economy, while in CVT it will deliver 17.8kmpl

The 1.5L i-DTEC has been rated to belt out 73kW (100PS) at 3600 rpm and 200 Nm at 1750 rpm. It will be available with a 6 MT Gearbox only and will deliver the highest 24.1kmpl of economy. 

INTERIOR AND SAFETY FEATURES

Though the exterior design comes with evolutionary design elements, Honda has also put effort on the interior as well. The Dashboard is new, it comes with a minimalistic design which is put together in a simple layout. The central console now features a bigger touch-infotainment system with an 8 inch display which is flanked by AC vents.


Honda has also used minimal gloss black trims in the newer model as it is prone to scratches. The new chunky 3-spoke steering wheel and leather upholstery reek luxury. The soft interior ambient lighting contrasts with driver’s mood.


Now talking about safety features, The New City has six airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors with a parking camera.

Now comes the part for which makes people to finalize the decision of getting the car: The Price Bracket. According to some analysis, reviewers assume this car to be priced at around 11 lacs, which is decent as compared to the pricing of others in this segment.

 Audi Q3 Audi is known to be currently working on an all-new generation of its Q3; an SUV that shows off its good build quality and luxurious interiors.
